respect. Tolerance. resources.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a conflict in school, you need to talk to a teacher, counselor, administrator, or parent as soon as possible. Violence cannot fix problems; in fact it only makes the situation worse. Instead, find the best way to step away from the problem. Think about the "big picture" and brainstorm solutions and talk them out. Everyone works together better when you remain calm and think rationally about the situation.
if you need help, ask for it.
No one expects you to handle all of your problems alone. The faculty and administration at Memorial High School are dedicated to helping their students succeed. Always ask for help especially if:
*You need help with any of your school work.
*You're having problems with peers in or out of school.
*You know of any other trouble or crime at school.
AND these are just a few reasons to ask for help. Just remember you have a support system at school that will work hard to help make you a success!
